Motovun Truffle Hunting

In two hours we had a relaxing and exciting walk through the forest, following the dogs’ noses, and they found a lot of truffles. The guide was also kind enough to wait for our group when we arrived 15 minutes late. Overall, a very enjoyable and unique activity!!!

Fabulous experience with lunch – My wife and I did the truffle hunt and lunch with Mihael, and it was fabulous! He met us at the designated parking location which was easy to find, and… See full review he drove us to our hunting location. We walked all through the fields and woods and had a great time watching two of his dogs work. We found some truffles and that was exciting. Then we went to his home where his mother prepared an absolutely amazing lunch. We had several courses all topped with shaved truffles (both black and white), homemade grapa, wine and an elderberry lemonade which was refreshing after the walk. I highly recommend using Mihael for your truffle hunting adventures. He is delightful, and we learned a lot about what he does and how he works all year. He made our visit to Motovun something we will always remember!
